Oxford Isis Public Speaking Club is not just about practicing the art of public speaking,  it's also about developing Leadership skills and there are many opportunities to do so.  Whether you are a new member or an experienced one you can volunteer for a range of roles :

• Sergant at Arms - Take responsibility for the meeting and welcome members as they come into the room.
• Toastmaster of the evening - Take control of the evening as the Host.
• Table Topics Master - Select a choice of table topics to help others to practice impromptu speaking.
• Evaluators (Speeches, Table topics and General) - Evaluations are integral parts of our meetings - Provide feedback and encouragement.
• Timekeeper - Help the meeting and speeches run within the allotted times.
• Wordmaster - Promote the use of good language by encouraging the use of a word of your choice.
